Bill’s passion for working with his hands began as a child building models and fixing any issues around home with his father. He took up wood shop in the fourth grade and was immediately hooked - ultimately running a summer camp shop program for 500 kids. Always looking for solutions to limited space in college, Bill created custom furniture, bookcases, stereo cabinets and closet shelving units for his rooms to maximize their livability and was often asked to do the same for friends who admired his inventive solutions.
A career as a producer followed in which Bill’s favorite responsibilities were working with the special effects, art and props departments to find creative and cost effective solutions to the unique needs a project inevitably requires. The joke has always been that he’s an art director at heart.
Now, the handyman in Bill can do anything, he installs range hoods, paints, builds and repairs fences, doors and cabinetry, hangs art work and so much more. He’s done work in private homes, apartments and businesses and has managed the care and repairs for an estate in Malibu. He has recently added moving coordination to his long list of skills, from last minute fixes before inspections to liaising with moving companies so you don’t have to.
